If you would use the latest EGroupware, which is 1.8.001 for the
Community Version, you could edit the filter via regular user interface.
Ralf
Hello all,
we are currently using the latest egw from the 1.6 branch and syncing the
address book sucessfully with an iPhone (SyncML LITE from plan44) via
SyncML.
I have also successfully experimented with the feature to sync only parts of
the address book data. The only problem is that the iPhone (and probably
other mobile devices as well) can not handle the concept of different
address books in terms of egw (private, user, group).
Only the categories of the egw address book are mapped to “categories” in
the iPhone address book.
New addresses entered on the iPhone can’t be explicitly assigned to a
selected egw address book (or I’m overseeing something?) It would be
sufficient having a global option that egw assigns all new addresses coming
via SyncML to a specified egw address book.
Has anybody found another solution, using perhaps SyncML filters?
Thanks and best regards,
–
