Correct. Just some spams arrived to the svn mailing list in the last few
weeks.
Normally, I would expect to see an update or two over that period of time. Did
I do something wrong using svn-helper.php switch to cause my install to no
longer pick up updates or have there just been no updates? Just curious,
everything is working great with 1.6!
I guess, developers spent their time with their families in December,
after they released 1.6. Like me
There was a big running before.
New year, new bugfixes will arrive

I was just scared I screwed something up and was missing updates. The
developers deserve all the time off they want after doing One-hell-of-a-job
with 1.6 and turning out an excellent release of superior quality.
