1.6.x Resources module questions

Dear All,

I would like to use the Resources module as an “inventory” module.

I use custom fields to store additional information related to specific
resources.

I am facing to several problems, which make Resources less useful and
incomfortable.

These problems are in random order, just a quick summary list :

Cannot show the inventory number on the resource list. I cannot choose from
the selection list, when I try to show new columns.

Cannot show custom fields. Same as in the previous point. Autofilter for
these customfields also not possible (like in infolog).

The Search cannot search in custom fields.

Cannot import resources from cvs.

Cannot clone an existing one to make easy to create similar resource.

Questions:

Is that possible to show inventory number in the resource list?

Is that possible to show custom fields values in the resource list?

Is that possible to search in custom fields, too?

Is that possible to make a clone button/function as in addressbook exists?

I checked the trunk version some days ago, but I did not see a big
difference between 1.6 and trunk related to Resources.

Any hints are welcome, thank you!

To the questions below: Yes, should not be that hard.

Is that possible to show inventory number in the resource list?

Is that possible to show custom fields values in the resource list?

Is that possible to search in custom fields, too?

Its a etemplate thing for the show - stuff, and some coding for the search.
