Hi Tom,
Hi all,
I have egw 1.8002 running on CentOS 5 with postgresql. Trying to get
14.1 installed. Followed the instructions here:
http://www.egroupware.org/fileadmin/content/Get_help/EPL_Installation_instructions/EN-CE-Installation.html
Everything says it installs OK, but nothing happens, I don’t see any
of the log files I’m supposed to see in /root and my 1.8 install
appears intact and functioning. Am I missing a step here?
Thanks!
Update…
After the above post my server wanted to do application updates and
showed EPL among the updates. I let it run and now I can get into the
new GUI, but I’m getting an error with the DB. I try to get into
Setup, but it is still bringing up the 1.8 GUI. I backed up the DB
before I began the upgrade. How do I import the DB into 14.1?
Just import 1.8 database dump (making sure no new tables from your
previous update are left!) and go to setup to run the schema updates.
Please note we require PostgreSQL 9.1+!
Ralf
Thanks again!
