Ralf, All,
I have been trying to move from 1.8 to 14.3, but I keep running into little
snags. In contacts, the [Advanced Search] button is missing (or scrunched down
to a tiny box). Here is a screenshot showing the “tool tip” for advanced search,
but the button is missing?

Next (same image) all of the rows are HUGE even when there is nothing but a
single name in them. These rows are 2 times a big as with 1.8 (same font size).
With 1.8 the rows scale between 3-lines high and 4-lines high. In 14.3 it looks
like they are stuck at 5 lines high not matter what they contain. How do we
restore the old behavior to get rid of the wasted space?
Lastly, I’m perplexed about my custom logo and login-background. I can make
an old ‘.gif’ display, but I cannot change it to another ‘gif, or jpg or png’.
If I change the image name, the alternate text of “Egroupware” just displays but
not image. It is like the image name is stuck in the database somewhere and it
will only accept the file name I set it to 8 years ago with 1.0? What should I
check?
