Active Directory intergrate

Please help me to config authentication by AD, I tried in many time to intergrate with active directory but not success.
Thanks for any help.

Does authentication just fail at login with “Wrong username or password”?

Do you see anything in Apache error_log?

Post what config you used (beside password of cause) and in which
EGroupware version.

I tried a copy from our production with a samba4 ADS.
With the 1.8.00X was no problem to authentificate.

With the 14.1 there was a few problems, but Ralph fix them,…

And we have no cristall ball, without info about version and settings we can’t help.

Thanks for your reply Ralf,

When login i get “Bad login or password”, I just install Egroupware new version 14.1.

I also check apache log but i saw nothing special include acess_log and error_log, i wonder how to test or get user form AD by CLI or some things else.

here is config for authentication.

and ADS configuration

Please let me know any thing you need to help me solve thi trouble .

for syncml and the stuff you can use ‘Standard, as defined above’

and ADS configuration
Maybee first step, use no encrytion and, use ssl instead tls.
For me it work.

What ADS Server use you?
You tested it right?

And please try to stop the apache and purge the stuff in /tmp or where your installation hit to,…

Hi,
my ADS is Windows 2003, it working well, i also change syncml to use ‘Standard, as defined above’ when testing but no luck, i will try look into /tmp for more info.
Please give me more suggest.

With default setting i can create admin user and saw it on AD but i still not login by any AD users

I just turn to Egroupware 1.8 and so surprise when login success with ADS. So i till looking for ADS with vẻ 14.1.
please share idead to help all about this trouble.

http://egw.domain.com/login.php?cd=5
Check if you may have magic_quote_gpc enabled in your php.ini, it might
cause exactly that.
As we have it switched off on all our installation, in fact it’s
depricted and removed in newer php version, we might have not noticed.

i’m so said i try many way but still not success with ver 14.1

here is new log

auth_ads::authenticate(‘admin’) authenticated, but user NOT found!, referer: http://egw.domain.com/login.php?cd=5

I guest now it passed to authenticate but not create user in Egw, I checked table account and see no one.

Please share yours idead.

OK, you doen’t already 've the users in EGroupware?
Maybe you try:
Auto create account records for authenticated users: yes

in the setup?
