Add event to calendar from another application

Hello,
I am actually in stage and i have to devellope an application witch interacte with calendar.

I must add an event to calendar without appear the template ‘calendar.edit’ just a form contain a submit button who add an event.

I have an idea to full the $content and execute the function edit (within calendar_uiforms) but i didn’t get a good result

I am asking for help please.

In EPL version we have a special template to edit or add events on cell
phones. You can call calendar_uiforms::edit() via menuaction and pass an
addtional (optional) parameter template=$templatename, to get edit to
use a different eTemplate. That’s the most easy solution, if you dont
want to read the documented calendar code

It’s not directly a function, you can simply open a window with URL
/egroupware/index.php?menuaction=calendar.calendar_uiforms.edit&template=mytemplatename

That’s all you need.

The menuaction calls calendar_uiforms::edit() method.
