two steps are necessary:

create $app/templates/default/preference_*.tpl files, have a look at
timesheet for example
http://svn.stylite.de/viewvc/egroupware/trunk/timesheet/templates/default/
There you define which acl types (add, edit, read, delete, …) your app
support.

like for the preferences, you have to create a link to the ACL page
with the preferences hook.

Is it possible to add ACL (ie for edit, add or delete) to a new application.
I can add settings but can’t see how to add ACL.
