is it possible to synchronize the egroupware address book “Distribution
Lists” with the Thunderbird address book (Mailing) Lists?
I worked out to synchronize the whole address book between Egroupware
1.8.004 and Thunderbird 15 (Funambol or SoGo) - but i could not find a
way doing that with the lists to…
Problem is there is no standard for distribution lists.
Currently only Apple specific “groups” are implemented, but disabled by
default (can be enabled in your CalDAV/CardDAV prefs).
SoGo uses something different to sync distribution lists. At one time I
had a look, but it wasn’t as easy to implement in current EGroupware.
VCard 4 standard has a way to express distribution lists, which is quite
simmilar to how Apple does it. Once that get used, it’s easy to base
EGroupware’s sync of distribution lists on that.
