Hi Michael,
Hi
I have installed Egroupware 14.2 community. With the egroupware-epl-groups
install as well, because we have had egroupware in the past. The groups
module works, but I am unable to create shared address books. I dont see any
way to do it.
Group addressbooks are created by granting read, write, delete
permissions from that group to itself or others.
To do you you need to right-click on that group in Admin and select
"Access control" from context menu.
In popup you select “Access to group X data by others” and application
"Addressbook". Then you can add rights.
I believe that has been described in our administration tutorial video,
you should check it out.
Ralf
Is there any way to create different group address books for different user
groups? The reason for this that the different groups are different
departments and users should in each group should have a shared address
book.
Best Regards
Michael.
