Hi,
Currently addressbook application uses some kind of sorting of entries, which leads
to entries being sorted like this: (in any field that is sortable by)
.
.
.
139 Some Avenue
14 Some Avenue
140 Some Avenue
.
.
.
149 Some Avenue
15 Some Avenue
150 Some Avenue
.
.
.
If a zero is prepended to address number, it goes normal again:
.
.
014 Some Avenue
015 Some Avenue
.
.
.
139 Some Avenue
140 Some Avenue
.
.
150 Some Avenue
But that’s not how ‘normal’ people write addresses…
Also in ‘custom fields’, this forces us to prepend zeros to
a field that is only supposed to contain a number, just to
have sorting correctly working.
Is this behavior somehow configurable? Or is it as provided by the database?
It’s the later, street is just a regular varchar column and sorted as that.
