Now, the system try to change the owner but response that it is impossible
Perhaps it make sense to implement in the check routine for the VFS
that the owner is a valid account and to change it to “root” in this
case?

that the owner is a valid account and to change it to “root” in this
case?

Was an other problem from a recent change to use php own functionality
to change owner, group or permissions, as that is supported sind PHP
5.4, which we now require. That allows us eg. to use other
stream-wrappers like PECL smbclient, instead of our propitiatory smb
stream-wrapper. PHP differs between an account name of a numeric id
given by the type of the argument, while from client-side we still get
the numeric ids as strings.
