I downloaded the latest free version of egroupware 14.3.007 , did all the configurations that the application displays , made all server updates ( 67 Centos 32bit and 64bit Centos 7 ) (PHP 5.4, 5.5 , 5.6) , however the time to validate the database , this with the error : ADOdb :: PConnect ( 127.0.0.1:3306 , root, $ password , mysql ) failed. however, moving from 127.0.0.1 to localhost , it works normally.
As I have centralized database server , MySQL database , you need remote access. Already have a series of applications that connect this database server, and the one who can not parameterize eh Egroupware . I searched the net several ways to solve , but not against any convincing documentation for the solution .
