could someone give me a hint how to fix this error spit out by the cron:

It looks like the email account is missing something, perhaps an invalid
encryption type.
It seems mail accunt #5 is the one with the problem, check to make sure you
can send email with that account.

Problem might be that I don’t have (anymore?) an acc with id 5.

Actually I don’t know what ‘job’ should be done by this.

When running “php -q /var/www/egroupware/phpgwapi/cron/asyncwrapper.php” from command line there is no error.

Will have an eye on it.

Hi Nathan,

just had a closer look on this problem:

• I definitively have no user with this acc id (5). Obviously there was an admin user with this id because my id (6) shows that it was created by id 5.

• Adding my user acc to the admin group does not help.

• The cron test job that can be activated leads to the error every 5 min, because it also uses this (not existing) acc id.

• How can I tell the the async service to use my acc id no. 6 ?

choose that. Or flag to indicate “Use this account”.

I’m pretty sure that’s email account credentials ID 5 though, not egw user
account ID 5.

Problem is most likely caused by mcrypt PHP extension not available for CLI.

Execute php -m and check if mcrypt is there. If not you need to fix that.

Some distributions enable extensions per SAPI, so you can have different
PHP extensions available for CLI (command line) and Apache … Dont ask
me why they do that.
