Application Develop without etemplate

Hi,

I’m new in egroupware, i read some articles about etemplate and concludes that etemplate don’t support my application fetures, example flash animation.
So my question is, exist some way to developer application for egroupware without etemplate?

You do not have to use etemplates. I did not like the idea of them at first either. I figured that it was some standard html generation.

I designed my whole app without them. Took 4 months (evenings and some weekends). I decided that I want my app to link with the others better so I tried to do a few screens in etemplate. Within one month I completely rewrote my app using etemplates.

My suggestion to you is that you must need some of the features in etemplates. Design your app using etemplates leaving out the feature that you are missing. Then once you are comfortable with them create the etemplate feature you need as a widget. You most lickly will save more time that way. trust me I found out the hard way.

Tks Randy, for the advice…
For 1ª version of my application i can use etemplate…but for other versions i can’t…because my objective is tranform my app in RIA …

So first I’m fallow your advice…I study and develop my application use etemplete after this i try to transform in RIA
