Hi Deti
as I understand it you have made a little soap-server wrapper around
asterisk, so that one can access certain functions of asterisks via soap
calls through your (perl based) soap server.
That is certainly handy (especially if the Asterisk project or someone
else starts standardising your API definitions (produced in WSDL or
otherwise documented) ) to add some “asterisk remote control” facilities
to Egw!
Where/how can we get a look at it?

Hi,
I have developed a SOAP based middleware interface to the popular
Asterisk VoIP PBX. It enables you to easily access
- call forwarding settings
- voicemails and settings
- listings for called, received or missed calls
- TAPI like calls from an addressbook on your computer
etc.
Probably some egroupware developer might be interested in writing an
Asterisk application to support my SOAP-API. My server side code is
written in perl and is released under GPL.
Currently I can’t provide any WSDL files or detailed documentation but I
wrote some code samples (perl + php) to show how this magic SOAP thingy
works on the client side.
Is there anyone out there who thinks this might be worth working on it?
Kind regards,
Deti
