Async issue on egw_vfs

Hi,

I have an issue of using egw_vfs inside of the async function. I am using the class.uiasyncservice.inc.php as my testing ground for async and I inserted this code: if(!egw_vfs::is_dir(’/home/ki/my_folder’)) in the test function. When I start the test job and running the test function of uiasyncservice, I cannot receive email anymore, the pre-defined email in the said function. When I’m going to remove the code I inserted, the function behave normal.

Any thought?

Are you running async service in “fallback mode”?

I would try running it via cron.

In fallback it executes after regular script execution and can therefore
interfere with a logged in users environment.

I am running async as “Crontab only”.

Do I have to run it as Fallback?

No, crontab makes much more sense!

“Fallback” was just an idea I had, why it might break.
