Batch import of users (not addressbook)

Hi list!

I need to import users to eGroupWare but I can see only import of user
addressbook directory - not users.
How do i do that? Is this even doable?

It is, but not available in 1.8.

You need at least EPL 11.1 or our upcomming new version.

Only thing you can do from 1.8 on is to use our admin command-line client

admin/admin-cli.php --edit-user

Plus a little shell script to read a csv file and call admin-cli for
each line …

That’s great, I’m fine with the cli way. But for information: by upcomming new
version you mean eGroupWare community version or the commercial one? From
context i think you mean community, but just to be sure.
