Better Wiki engine?

Hi.

I’m wondering why is E-Groupware using WikkiTikkiTavi as its Wiki
engine - Tavi seems to be quite dead…

Is there a plan (or at least any thoughts) to change Wiki’s engine to
some more evolving one (e.g. Mediawiki, TWiki, …)?

The point would be that even though many useful functions of a wiki
are in other E-Groupware modules, there would be better possibilities
for extending wiki, more ways to convert an existing wiki into
E-Groupware, etc.

I asked a question along these lines not too long ago. Mine was more
specific to the recent updates in Tavi, but the gist was the same; no
one’s really working on it, but you can feel free to go ahead if you
want.
