Blank page after upgrade

I am attempting to upgrade from 14.3.007 to 16.1.002 and have gotten a
blank screen, after login, all databases managed to update. however
phpgwapi created a dependency issue. Could I have some help with this?

Blank page means there was some server-side error and you need to look
into Apache error.log.

Depending how you made the update and which apps you want to use you
might need to install old phpgwapi, see the release notes.

That helped but now, none of my users are considered admins to adjust
the application ACLs, my Admin account can’t access the admin menu

An error happened

CreateObject() file /opt/var/www/html/egw142/api/inc/class…inc.php not
found!

I got this error when trying to modify a user ACL

That helped but now, none of my users are considered admins to adjust
the application ACLs, my Admin account can’t access the admin menu

Can you try to clear your browser cache / cookies for the EGroupware server ?
(EGW will require you to log in again when you do that, but the
stored state should be gone and let you access what you need)
