Well, we have two iPhone 4 with iOS5 on them and they were working fine under
4.x and still work well under iOS5.
However I am using egw 1.9.
So I guess the question is whether this is related to egw 1.8 or to your
setup.
Can you please check what you are getting when you enter the following URL
into your webbrowser:

Can you please check what you are using in your .htaccess file.
I use the below rules.

Regards,
Ingo
We are experiencing the same problem with iPhones in our company. A
colleague of mine bought an iPhone some months ago and was initially able
to synchronize the calendar. Since an update in the iPhone 1 or 2 weeks
ago, the sync is broken, i.e. it is not longer possible to create the
account in the phone. I do not have an iPhone with me, so I can’t check the
error message, but I think the phone said that it could not get contact
with the server (after a long while trying).
Another colleague with an iPhone bought only 3 weeks ago has never been able
to get it running, with the same behaviour as mentioned above.
If this is of any help, I can do some tests with my colleagues phones when I
am back at work.
