Calendar ics import

Hello,

I have exported my calendar to an ics file from contact and it seems to be
complete. However if I import that into the calendar in egroupware
1.4.002, I only get a few entries and those have wrong end dates etc.
Is this feature broken? What am I doing wrong?

part of the ics file is this:
So its a reoccuring event with 2 reoccurances. It seems like egw does not
catch that but just repeats it daily forever.

Hi Christof,

1.4.002 does not support COUNT, that was added shortly after 1.4.002,
you can eg. try the daily snapshot of the 1.4 branch.

Will I be able to upgrade without data loss? Is there a specific guide I
should follow? should I go with the head version or an older one like you
suggested?

The 1.4 snapshot I suggested (www.egroupware.org/download) is probably
the most easy alternative.
