Calendar "New event participants"

I have calendar “new event participants” set to “just me” under forced preferences.
When i add new event under my private calendar, i’m automatically added to participants list, just like older egroupware we used (ancient 1.18. or 1.8?)
However, when i add new event by clicking on resource (room A or whatever), only the resource is in participants, not the event creator (behaviour unlike old egw)
Is it a bug or intended behaviour? Any ideas how to mitigate?

For the time being, I can confirm the behaviour in this way.
We will discuss this internally.

You can book the resource via the calendar.

Hi Markku,

you can use for example multiweekview with you and the resource, so both get added. Or you create the event in week view in your calendar and use drag&drop into the week view of the resource and invite the resource to the event.

From my perspective i want to have the behaviour similar for resources, users and groups. And there are a lot of cases where the user itself don’t want to be participant e.g. if you have to book the rooms for other participants.
