Calendar notification on recurrent event started in the past

Serverinfo:
egroupware-docker (23.1.20240304)
Ubuntu 22.04

We noticed a little issue in Calendar module. If we add a participant to a recurring event that were started in the past, the email notification doesn’t work.

Reproduce steps:

1. Create a recurring event to start in the past
2. Find an event from this sequence that are in the future
3. Add a participant
4. Email does not arrive to newly added participant

Can you help with this?

Are you adding to the series or an exception?
Is the invitee sure to receive email notifications?

• im adding to series, not only one execption.
• Invitee user receive email notifications

If i create simple event, the user receive email notification, and also if i create recurrence event in the future and add participant after created the series, the user receive email.

If add participant only one exception in the series (in future), added user receive email properly.

The issue only affected when the series contains past events.

Then I can now reproduce the behaviour.

Is there any chance to solve this in the future? It would be a nice behaviour.
I’ve tried all notification settings in admin, but nothing seems to work.
