Calendar permission problem

Hi

When i set calendar permissions like this: all user can read and see free/busy state for all users (read, free/busy rights in calendar), then i can add event to other user calendar (why can add event, when only read permissions set).
After than i owned this event, but i cant see in my calendar (only if if selected owner too filter).

Egroupware version: 19.1.20200701 (docker)
Environment: ActiveDirectory for groups and users

Can you help this?

user/access control/Access to xxx data by others

Hi Stefan,

The access-control was set properly in group level.

But with this settings the egroupware group user can add event to the other users calendar. The created event wont show in user own calendar, only the “owner too” filter is set. Its a little bit confuse working.

Is it possible to full deny add event with only read permission?

Please check the rights from the perspective of the user:

Your user seems to have too many rights. Therefore you have to check the user.

You probably have not only the other person’s calendar in view, but also your own.
So you will add an appointment in your calendar where you are not a participant. You are then the owner, but not a participant. So you will only see the appointment if you display the appointments you are the owner of.

Yes, you are the owner of an (appointment) data record if you have not explicitly entered it with the appropriate rights for/at a user.

You probably have not only the other person’s calendar in view, but also your own.

So you will add an appointment in your calendar where you are not a participant. You are then the owner, but not a participant. So you will only see the appointment if you display the appointments you are the owner of.
