Calendar problem: NOT A VALID GUID

Hi

In the latest egroupware (20201005), when i tried to create a calendar event from addressbook (Active directory) with Calendar - Add appointment, its completely died. After not work CalDav and i dont see any event in the future…

Hi,

i did a couple of tests.
If I edit the contacts (add “test” text to the organisation attribute), which are stored in ActiveDirectory, then add event with Calendar - Add appointment option, than the Participants show like this in the event:
Type: Addressbook
Participants: test:USERNAME

In this case the “test:USERNAME” is not exist and than get the error: … NOT A VALID GUID.
I think the problem is the type probably have to User when its an AD contact.

That contact you tried to create an appointment with, was it a user from AD or a real contact?

The later I never tried, as we - due to certain limitations - never use AD for contacts.

If that newly created appointment is the problem, and you can not access it via EGroupware, due to the error you describe, then you can only find and delete it in the database, look in the egw_cal_user table and delete the row containing it.

Yes, that contact from i tried to create appointent was an AD contact.
I use “hibrid” solution. Contacts are stored in sql and list AD contacts for internal informations. I also use AD groups as distribution lists and it is also stored in sql, but the group names come from AD.

The later I never tried, as we - due to certain limitations - never use AD for contacts.

What are these limitations?

I was make a backup and delete the problem lines, then make a restore.
What is the name of the column, that store GUID parameter to the events participants?

What can i do to avoid this error when i use AD contacts?
