Call to a member function select() on a non-object

Hi,

I got this proplem after an upgrade: I upgraded from ubuntu 8.4 lts
to 10.4 lts. I had Egroupware 1.6.002, but that gave me an XML prob
in felamimail after the upgrade. Therefore I also upgraded to
Egroupware 1.6.003 by the way of an svn checkout [1.6 branch].

After clicking through the setup pages, and restoring my header.inc.php
file, i now get an:

Fatal error: Call to a member function select() on a non-object in
/data/www/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.translation.inc.php on line 219

when trying to load the home page.

Any ideas?

Problem could be a cookie/session from before the update. Either delete
the cookies or call the logout.php url.

I already had removed al session files from the server, closed the
browser and restarted apache.

Removing my client cookies however, does solve the problem.
