there’s an InfoLog preference for that:
Startdate for new entries:
- current date
- current date and time
- empty

Currently when you add a timesheet entry, the timesheet end time defaults to
the current time which is very handy. Infolog currently doesn’t set either. It
would be great if you could set infolog entries default start time to the
current time so that when a call comes in or when a note or todo entry is
created you have the time already there.
I like the idea. Also, where does this live in the code? I wouldn’t mind
hacking at it. Thanks.
