This occurs when you are looking at the Time Sheet tab. I am not sure exactly what is happening here but after adding new Timesheet entries, the entries appear with a yellow background. This yellow background fades out to a pale yellow that is almost white (but looks subtlely different) but when you refresh from the left menu, they appear a more vivid yellow for a bit then fades.
During this time, you can’t select multiple yellow time sheet entries. You can select multiple time sheet entries if they are normal (and at most one of these recently added entries if it was selected first)
These entries return to normal if you log out and log in.
These yellow time sheet entries don’t have to belong to the user logged in - though not all users are able to see other user’s time sheet entries.
I am not sure how long this has been occurring, though it has been at least a week. I just updated the instance - so it is not on 20.1.20200914. The only difference since the update is that the timesheet list isn’t getting reset to the top when modifying the Status using the right-click > Modify Status. The database is mariaDB running on Ubuntu 18.04 installed through apt.
