Actually not. I have it on my list.
You can basically configure categories with permissions or owners (groups).
In this example, only users in group D (German company) can see the works council category. The group CZ (Czech company) does not see the category. They do not have a works council…
And:
You should consider which category should be available globally for the whole EGroupware and which only for certain applications.
Users should also better not create their own categories.
All this could help the individual user to see fewer categories. If that is possible for you.
