i am quite sure an explanation can be found, but not with the sparse
info you are
providing.
I know, this will not really help, but not having an
account/setup/enviroment to reproduce
the problems that you are experiencing makes this a nut hard to crack.
could you provide a testaccount?
You could try to check the webservers error log for errors and exceptions.
You could switch on debug and debug_literal in emailadmin_imap
and examine the communication with the imap server.

While I have for the most part gotten most E-mail providers
registered in my eGroupware, we have a problem. My E-mail account,
(IMAPS) and one other are persistently displaying 0 Messages in
eGroupware under 14.1, Authentication is succeeding. Can this be
explained? Other ISP Level E-mail, and Yahoo mail work fine.
