You could do something similar to the command-line client, which uses a
"root_" prefix to the username to indicate you want root access. Which
would in turn set a flag in the session and if that’s present set
egw_vfs::$is_root = true;
Which gives you root access, 'til the session terminates.
Other solution would be to create a pseudo user and assign him an
externded ACL granting access for /.

Dear All, how is it possible to connect as Superuser to the Filemanager using
WebDav/NetDrive? I think that is must be possible by altering the
"webdav.php" file but so far I have not been successful. The risks are
understood but being able to do so will make it much easier to manage
customer files and folders. Any tips or help appreciated.
