Contacts registration : suggestion to improve UX when creating a new contact

Hello,

Here is the UX problem :

When an user want to add a contact :

• he click on “+” button on the contacts app.
• he see the focus on “Name” field.
• he start typing and the name field is filling up.
• he enters the others fields like email, address, etc
• he save the contact

-> the contact is created without any name because the change he made in “Name” field was not validated through the name-popup :

I suggest to show the name-popup when the window of new contact appear :

Fixed

* Addressbook: fix focus on not editable name field: open name popup for new contacts or on keyboard for existing ones

We now open the edit popup for new entries directly with the name popup open and focused, existing entries behave like before (name focused), but open the name pop, if you try to type anything.

Unfortunately I cant disable the name-field, it then no longer reacts on click

I believe the prevents the problem you described.

Please note: it’s a change in JavaScript, so you need to rebuild the JS, if you patch your existing instance with my commit.
