Country names and upper cases

Hi,

I noticed all country names in “egw_lang” database table are in upper cases.
It causes some incoherences in database, for example when using Kontact
(address book with GroupDav connection) which saves country names in lower
cases with the first character in upper case (it seems better to me). Is there
a reason for that ?

I dont think there is any special reason, and I dont like it either.

So far just noone took the effort to change it.

OK, I will do the changes for my own use.

Can I use a dump of “egw_lang” database table from eGroupware 1.6.003 to
propose a patch ? Or is there a more recent version on the development
repository (I didn’t find it on the website) ?

For a patch, you have to use phpgwapi/lang/egw_.lang or for 1.6
phpgwapi/setup/egw_.lang

Thought the phrases you all lowercase, so you can change that on a per
language basis.

eGroupware seems to reload translations by default at login time (I saw an
option about that).

Attached you can find 2 patches concerning english and french language files.

I made the following changes:

Change upper cases to lower cases for country names
Add some missed country names entries
Fix some misspellings in French
