Crontab not found or not executable

How to fix this error? I can’t install crontab because of this.

Hi!

How to fix this error? I can’t install crontab because of this.

1. Install cron (you probably have)
2. Check your log file. It probably says that /usr/bin/crontab is not
   accessible because of open_basedir in effect.
   Add the path to the crontab command in the open_basedir path.

Alternatively, if you can install packages, install eGroupware from
packages (rpm / deb), which will install a crontab in /etc/cron.d/.

File(/usr/bin/crontab) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/migrate.a2/web:/home/rwdevca:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/rwdevca/public_html/system/phpgwapi/inc/class.asyncservice.inc.php on line 564, referer: http://www.rwdev.ca/system/index.php?menuaction=admin.uiasyncservice.index

I created crontab directory already. Please advise further.

Where to find that open_basedir path?
I tried this:
rwdevca@rwdev.ca [/]# find /usr/bin/crontab
/usr/bin/crontab
rwdevca@rwdev.ca [/]# find /usr/bin/crontab/
find: /usr/bin/crontab/: Not a directory
rwdevca@rwdev.ca [/]# mkdir /usr/bin/crontab/
mkdir: cannot create directory `/usr/bin/crontab/’: File exists

Please advise further.

/usr/bin/crontab is a programm/executable that does the timed execution of tasks for you.
type “man crontab” on your commandline to learn more
The open_basedir directive is a configuration option of your webserver.
If you have a package based Installation you should have a egroupware.conf or (apache.conf) file within
the configuration directory of your webserver.
You should know where to find that one.
An example apache.conf file is located
[egroupware path]/doc/rpm-build/
