Cross-relam problem in cyrus

Dear list,

I can login with cyradm like

      $] cyradm -u joydeep   kolkatainfoservices.in

and no problem to login.

but if I use the domain name like

   $] cyradm  -u  joydeep@kolkatainfoservices.in

kolkatainfoservices.in
and here is the problem to login.

I hv checked the log files and it displayed

Feb 22 13:54:49 linux imap[9784]: cross-realm login
joydeep@kolkatainfoservices.in denied
Feb 22 13:54:49 linux imap[9784]: badlogin: localhost [127.0.0.1]
plaintext joydeep@kolkatainfoservices.in SASL(-13): authentication
failure: cross-realm login joydeep@kolkatainfoservices.in denied

so what is the cross-relam here and how can I fix this in cyrus ?
