If your customfields disappear, it is an indicator that your storage object
for them is broken.
Its an serialized array that stores the cf-definition. my assumption is,
that while increasing the
number of listbox entrys, you may add stuff, that breaks the rest of the
array.
Do you have an example of one of those cf-definition breaking listboxes?

Hello,
I have an issue with custom fields in the addressbook. We use these a
great
deal but we have an issue where they all dissapear if you add too many
options in listboxes.
I first thought this was to do with the issue we were having with
memory_limit but this has now been resolved but we still get the custom
field issue.
I’m in the process of trying to reduce the number of options in our custom
fields but this will only be a short term solutiuon as I’m sure they will
contine to grow.
Nick
