Customfields in addressbook

Hi ,

I made some customization to display 2 custom fields on the addressbook “details” tab. using the following statement in the edit.xet template :

It is working for displaying already set values in the custom field but when I try to modify the value it does not save it.

Am I missing options?

It is working for displaying already set values in the custom field but when I try to modify the value it does not save it.

when the form is submitted (save etc) your modified value could be overwritten (last one wins) by the old value which is still resting in the custom field under the “custom field tab”.

You could add some js in the app.js to synchronize the two fields or if you are using a custom address book type other than contact you could delete the custom tab code in the customized xet file and manage the custom fields for this contact type on your own - what are you doing already with #Distributor_contact.
