DATA BASE ERROR 'LIMIT 0,3 for single user in the Tracking system

Hello ,

I have a problem with the tracking system only, for only one user. When he logs in he gets an error :

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘LIMIT 0,3’ at line 1 (1064)

This is only for him and only with the tracking system, all other accounts and the apps are all working.
All help will be really appreciated.

Unfortunately the SQL you posted from the logs is truncated, so it’s hard to say what the error is.

Workaround is easy:

1. find the numerical id of the user, eg. by executing the following SQL:
   SELECT account_id FROM egw_accounts WHERE account_lid='<username>'
2. run the following SQL to clear his Tracker preferences:
   DELETE FROM egw_preferences WHERE preference_owner=<numerical-id> AND preference_app='tracker'
3. clear the instance cache: Administration >> Clear cache and register hooks

If he logs in again all his Tracker preferences incl. state of the list, causing the problem, is gone. That also included his favorites, if he had some!
