Call it before you call etemplate_new->exec():
egw_framework::message(lang(‘Entry saved’));
or
egw_framework::message(lang(‘Error’), ‘error’);
The message will be sent with your next etemplate exec() call.

Hello,
I would like to display some status messages at a custom application (eg
’Entry saved’, ‘Entry could not be deleted’ etc) after saving, deleting etc.
What is the correct way to do it? I have seen egw_framework::message($msg);
but I don’t know how to use it.
I am using the new etemplate from the last version.
Thanks,
Alex
