Hi Gunda,
We run egroupware CE 14.2 on a shared Linux server. I have searched
many hours on the web and tried many settings to use esync with a BB
Q10 und an Android phone. We did not get it to work. I have also seen
the server settings recommended on another thread (setting aliases).
Could you please confirm that we can use Activesyn (esync) in this
environment? If so, do we need to configure the webserver apart from
the changing the settings in EGW and access rights?
The URL for ActiveSync must be according to Microsoft specification
https://domain.com/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
This is archived in our package installation by following Apache
configuration:
Alias /Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
/usr/share/egroupware/activesync/index.php
I dont know your shared webserver enviroment and the amount of influence
you have on it.
That’s a question you need to ask your hosting provider.
Ralf
Thanks in advance!
