Duplicate entry in Infolog

Hi All,
we record incoming e-mails, ToDos and other information related to a project by linking them to the project itself so that anyone using project manager consulting a given project can see what has happened.
It may happen, however, that if an email is sent simultaneously to more than one co-worker both may register the email in a project. in this case, duplicate information is generated. Is there a way to avoid duplicate information (e.g. duplicate recording of the same email or the same meeting or the same ToDo)?

Hi Gabriele.

I think not.

The e-mails as information are not the same because two different users create this information.
How should a system recognise this?

You should solve this organisationally.

I understand that the possibility of detecting duplicates is not present in EGW, but this does not mean that it is not possible. Two emails sent from outside to two members of the same team are perfectly identical and have (I think) the same timestamp.
We will follow your suggestion by identifying an archivist role within the Project.
