E-Groupware 1.8 upgrade

Still getting errors with A fresh install of E-Groupware + exsisting
database upgrade.

eGroupware-1.8.001.20101026.tar.bz2

My calendar is defined by

http://192.168.x.y/egw/groupdav.php/calendar

Thunderbird Lightning error message on login box.

A user name and password are being requested by http://192.168.x.y. The site
says: “Database error Invalid SQL: SELECT
egw_cal_repeats.,egw_cal.,MIN(cal_start) AS cal_start,MIN(cal_end) AS
cal_end FROM egw_cal ,egw_cal_dates LEFT JO…”

and

[Wed Nov 03 16:29:11 2010] [error] [client 192.168.x.z] PHP Fatal error:
Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8208
bytes) in /usr/share/egroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.asyncservice.inc.php on
line 476

in the apache error log

This is a calendar which has always worked before the upgrade.

this calendar only had 4 events now appears to have 0 in the egroupware web
calendar.

is there a program to scan my database for bad data ?

You left out the interesting part of that error message …

yes , but that’s as much as thunderbird + Lightning has in it’s
authentication box…

any hints on debugging this one ?

The exception is logged to Apache error_log too.

any hints on debugging this one ?

That server is in your local network (not much point in hiding with
.x.y), so you should be able to check the apache error log. The full
error should be in there.

there are no errors from my server error.log files in the timeframe of
login failures .
the errors are now not showing this error they are just normal login
prompts
but logins fail

just these accesses.

I can then log in successfully using firefox to test…

I just got my co worker to test and he sent me the error in a picture …

Missing Database field from update ?

( updated from 1.7 devel version to 1.8 …)

a plain 1.8 install should not have the column cal_deleted
Check with your database, if that column is available, if it is delete it
Backup first using a database dump

egw_cal does not contain cal_deleted !

neither does the egroupware php files !

Sorry , I’ll tell my co-workers to stop doing the impossible!
