Echat application in egroupware 1.8

Hello,

I’ve just successfully setup egroupware 1.8 on ubuntu 12.04. I added all applications. When I login to my egroupware session with my admin ID, I would have expected to see my echat application, but it’s not there.

I’ve checked the applications under my Admin panel and I can see the echat application, but the only option on this panel is to move echat up or down.

What do I need to do to see this application so I can use it?

Oh Boy…I must have been really tired when I posted this…it’s not called echat, it’s called freechat. And I did finally get it displayed once I figured out that in my users group I had to enable access to freechat.

Now I’m looking into how to have a popup notification if someone is logged into eGroupWare and doesn’t have the freechat application window opened. Can there be a popup message to tell them they have a message?
