I am trying to use the eTemplate, but with no success.
In my case, what I need is to remove the “Private” checkbox from the Options
in Calendar> edit.xet
One of the things I did was editing a separate edit.xet file, then imported
it through the eTemplate. It shows the model without the undesired field,
just as I wanted.
From that point on I don’t know what to do. I tried saving it and copying it
for installation, but either way I get back the original layout with the
undesired field.
In 1.8 xet files are only for documentation purpose, use eTemplate app
to edit the template.
I also tried using the eTemplate to read the existing editable models, then
selecting calendar.edit to edit. It shows me the original layout, but
doesn’t offer any means of editing the code.
Doubleclick on the widget you want to edit and a popup opens.
