Egroupware 1.6.003-2 on Ubuntu 10.04 problem with download index.php

Hi everybody,
I have installated egroupware 1.6.003-2 on Ubuntu 10.04 x64 server with Mysql. After all installation steps I had clear db (without user data). In this state egrouware running excellent. Everything, what I test runs great.

But after this i recovery to this Egroupware installation data from my production egroupware server(same version), modify headers.inc.php, create folders on new server, copy data to them from production server. When I run Egroupware after this modifications, all is ok except two egw application - projectmanager and resources. This two apps raises download index.php.

Recovery my db I tested via egroupware function Backup/recovery and via mysqldum and mysql import. The result was the same - problem with projectmanager and resources.

What can be wrong?

I think, that problem isn’t in PHP 5.3.2, because after install egroupware all run excellent.

It sounds like what I was experiencing. My server environment looks to be similar to yours. Downgrading to PHP 5.2 helped, as recommended. No problems since the downgrade. The forum thread is titled “Tracker: Download ‘index.php’ problem with ‘All’ queue”.

Be so kind, if you have some good instructions how downgrade php to version 5.2x on Ubuntu 10.04, send it to me.

That is the link I used also. I did not stray far from the instructions given at [http://www.egroupware.org/download] for initial setup on Ubuntu. I use the 64-bit flavor of Ubuntu 10.04.

If this is a new installation I would perform the PHP downgrade first.

Hi all,

With the Ubuntu-Server 11.10 solves this problem. This OS uses PHP 5.3.6-13ubuntu3.2.
