First I’ve tried to register for the groupware form but never got
confirmation, so my user id
doesn’t seem to work. So I’m trying to post directly to the list.
I upgraded to 14.1 last weekend. The users have reported a few issues.
I was able to resolve some of their issue by increasing memory_limit
from 128M to 256M
in /etc/httpd/conf.d/egroupware.conf
php_value memory_limit 256M
Interesting, where did you get problems with 128MB?
Other issues seem to be browser dependent; Safari 5 and IE10 and IE8
won’t display email, the page remains blank. Safari5 errors all look
like: Refused to load script from … because of Content-Security-Policy.
I tried enabling Compatibility View IE8 and 10 with no luck. Seems to
work OK in Firefox ver 24, Chrome ver 27 and ver 35.
Current Safari 7 works, so does IE 11.
IE 8 or 9 are far to old, IE 10 should work but still be quite slow.
As a rule of thumb: the newer the browser the quicker it works, thought
Chrome is always fastest.
Although, we often need to hit refresh a few times to get the mail page to display.
If you open the Javascrip console, do you see any errors in that case?
This may be a lack of experience with mobile devices, but our users miss
the check box to be able to select multiple emails to delete (spam).
Not a problem in a PC browser, just don’t know how to select multiple
emails in a mobile device.
Improved support for mobile devices is on our internal roadmap for one
of the next versions.
