Hi, I am trying the following setup: wamp + hmailserver (email) + EGW 14.2 (latest as of today).
Hmailserver is accessible via android phone (K9 app), Thunderbird and EGW.
Emails are currently relayed to a SMTP service via hmailserver, which requires authentication.
I noticed that, while I can receive emails just fine, sending them works with K9 and Thunderbird but not with EGW. They come back from the external SMTP service as ‘undeliverable’:
Error Type: SMTP
Remote server (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) issued an error.
hMailServer sent:
Remote server replied: 550 Invalid Mailfrom [smtp service; LIB_430]
I tried to activate the smtp debug log and the Mailfrom I see is different from what I get when I use K9 or Thunderbird. With K9/Thunderbird I see the email address of the SMTP service, while with EGW I see the Mailfrom based on the user id required to authenticate EGW to use the hmailserver application.
Are there any flags in EGW I should change in order to use the correct Mailfrom ?
