I notice that the entry for day one has been updated, but unfortunately it is not accurate, and attempting to follow it from scratch will not work. For example:
1.Here you go to manage Applications (Setup Main Menu) check the name of your application (the name of the folder within the eGroupwaretree, where your Application is going to reside) and click install.

After adding the entry there you have to allow yourself or your group the access to the newly registered application
You can’t as it appears to require the admin hook before you can do this.

It is vital that you have clear and accurate tutorials if you wish to encourage additional programmers to work with this platform. Many people would give up after a few attempts at this if they were not attempting to understand the full capabilities of a platform. If you’d like to encourage other people to submit/create apps for this then providing an accurate beginners tutorial is a must. To that end, as I am going through this particular tutorial, would you like me to correct it for v1.8?..or perhaps create a duplicate tutorial for v1.8, which can then be sanitised by yourselves?
