Has anyone had any experience with this setup? I’ve searched high and low, but am unable to find a way to remove the nis.schema and add the rfc2307bis.schema that’s required. I’m doing a fresh install of the complete system, as follows:
Ubuntu 9.10 Server (amd64)
OpenLDAP 2.4.18 (with cn=config configuration setup by default)
MySQL 5.1.37
During the installation process, the eGW installer cannot successfully add the Admin account. The account is actually added to the LDAP directory, but the installer still displays a red X for this task. Login is not possible.
I see that another user is having the same problem here. And I followed the suggestion posted here, but deleting the cn={3}nis.ldif from the not-running slapd config only leads to not being able to start slapd again.
When I change the account storage to SQL, the admin account is successfully created. (I still can’t login, but perhaps I should trouble-shoot that for a while longer, then make a separate post…)
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
